Whimsical Summer Gaming Recommendation

 Each summer when the stars align I re-download Sea of Thieves to play for the summer. Now it's updated to support solo chill play sessions instead of the multi hour expeditions that define the gameplay loop of SOT. It goes on sale for the summer steam sale every year if you're interested. Get your friends to spend money on this to larp as pirates on the high seas. But there is a bit of a learning curve so I highly encourage the tutorial (which is now mandatory?) and using the safer seas features if the serves are sweaty.

 

 Heres some pics from my solo adventures today. With the safer seas feature I still enjoy PvE encounters without dealing with sweaty pirates. I did a mermaid shrine for the first time and I think it would be fun to try with friends. I encountered some storms and it looked really realistic so I took a pic. The 2nd pic is my favorite outpost, ✨Plunder Outpost✨.
